Seokga is not exactly what you would call a functional person. Sure, he looks very innocent and approachable, his smile does light up the room, but as soon as you look into his eyes, their coldness will make you feel like you've drowned along with Jack in the Titanic.Upon looking at him up close, you'd be forced to do a double take. What you see would force you to wonder what happened to him? What made him like this? The answer to that would be as unexpected as his lack of warmth. A poor poor boy dragged by hands of religious extremists, kidnapped and tortured for so long he completely lost track of time, and any semblance of humanity he had. Those eyes that are now so cold would be found vacant. His face, which was a work of art, would be hidden behind a mask of dirt, blood and bruises. The deft hands he now uses to paint would be locked in cuffs, chained to a wall to hinder his movements. But that was not all. His lungs would be filled with water from repeated drowning attempts. His voice would be meek and pained, a result of countless nights screaming for someone, for anyone, for help, and for a chance to escape, but without a soul to heed his calls. Why would anyone do that to a child? You would ask, but the answer wouldn't be to your liking. It never was. Witch trials were long past, and the age of superstition was long gone, yet, he still happened to cross paths with those stuck in the old times.First, they called him a witch. A wicked being, afraid of fire, afraid of water. They burnt and bruised him, but without ever killing him. They wanted him to admit, wanted him to confess, but how could a child admit to something he never did? Then, they called him a werewolf. A violent beast, afraid of silver, prone to poison. They pierced his body with blades of silver, made him run, so they could hunt him with silver arrows, and at last, they tried to poison him with wolfsbane. But sadly, not of that was enough to kill him.For the grand finale, they called him a demon. His skill was branded with a silver cross, forever scarring his back, so he would always remember own monstrosity. They beat, and chained him. Boiled water and scalded him. His resilience was far to great, but while all he wanted was to finally die, all it brought them was more fear.He was saved, at last, but never to be the same. Inside of him had now been born that same demon they spoke of.

As the quietness of a full moon night brings his Kwang afloat, flashbacks of painful memories are unlocked, bringing about that of which they shaped. The innocent becomes what he was accused of, and the atrocities he had to atone for in the past, are only now seeing the light of the day.Careful, you may be just what his killing impulse is looking for. The bloodthirsty beast will have a piece of your heart, but there will be nothing romantic about it.
